the story of how we bought a car at an auction in Japan and went to meet it at the port in Hanko
we set off very early, about 8 am, the road to the very south of Finland is almost 200 km
we bought the car back in august, three months ago, and all this time it was sailing to us on a huge barge across the floor of the earthly world
and today we finally meet it
the road was very gray, sad, but my husband think it is really Japanese weather - foggy and very calm.
there were no beautiful places on the way where I would like to take a break or stop for something to photograph
from the middle of the way, the names of the cities were already in Swedish, and then only in Finnish
the city's greeting was very impressive - so in the spirit of a southern city
i really liked the city from the car window, it's a pity I didn't have enough time to walk and enjoy
on the way to the port
arrived at the port. very exciting and interesting at the same time .. probably always like this when something happens for the first time
the unloading of the ship with our car was carried out by the company Oy Hangö Stevedoring Ab
https://stevedoring.fi/fi/
one day before we filled in the necessary papers, received transit numbers for self-transportation for car - 25 euros per day
and paid for customs clearance
we were so worried about customs clearance, papers, documents and how all this would happen,
but it turned out, as mine ргиин says, "how to piss two fingers!"
we followed the docker worker. the port is very beautiful, so authentic,
just America
very very exciting
here you go! the happiest person!
very beautiful and good here, nevertheless it's sad that
we couldn't spend more time here!
i'm on the tail of this miracle
decided to immediately service the car - changed the wheels to winter ones, charged the battery here
decided to have a snack at a local shop while they were making the car. we love this local street food when traveling
Mokkis Stop-In Grill Ab Oy
POHJOINEN, Lasitehtaankatu 2, 10960 Hanko
learned about the existence S RAUTA
never met it before
and a very terrible creepy road home. What a dubious pleasure to travel!
